CYGNET
PAINTING started back with Hans Michelsen, the grandfather who worked
in Copenhagen
and New York. His children, Margrethe and Peter, carried the tradition and practiced the craft
around New England. Now some of his grandchildren are painting around the country, carrying
on the family trade. The two brothers, Lars and Peter, are Cygnet Painting today.
Although the business is small, its work spreads nation wide.
